Pet Policy
Pet Policy Royal Park
Residents are welcome to have pets on their property, but we kindly ask that they seek permission from UKO prior to having pets in the property.
You are required to submit a completed pet application form. A pet application form along with more information on pet policy can be obtained from CAV website - Pets in rental properties - Consumer Affairs Victoria
If approved, there are a few simple guidelines to ensure a harmonious living environment:
-
Each lot is limited to a maximum of two pets.
-
Pets should be well-behaved, toilet-trained, and not exceed 10 kg when fully grown.
-
Pets should not disturb fellow residents, cause a nuisance or inconvenience.
-
When moving through common areas, pets should be carried for entry and exit purposes only.
-
If your pet relieves itself on common property, please dispose of the waste in an approved hygienic manner.
-
Keep your pet clean, quiet, and under control while on common property.
-
Pet owners are responsible for any legal matters, claims, damages, injuries, or compensation resulting from violating these guidelines.
-
A written confirmation of compliance with these rules is required from pet owners.
-
Any unapproved pets or those violating these rules must be removed within a reasonable timeframe upon written notice from the Owners Corporation.
In extreme cases where a pet poses a danger to other tenant, staff, contractors, property or causes significant disturbances, UKO will have the authority to remove the pet from the building through a resolution.
