We’re in this together. We’re here to support you

Through the past few months we’ve seen our lives change dramatically to a new normal that is COVID-19. Now more than ever our UKO communities have come together to maintain physical and mental wellbeing as well as creating a sense of belonging for those connected to UKO. We’ve been moved by how our members have helped each other, and we’re proud of the strength of our UKO community.

People are at the core of what we do. Our priority has always been and will continue to be the safety and wellbeing of our members, team and partners.  We have robust measures to insure our communities safety and we’ve been closely adhering to the advice of the NSW government Health throughout.

What we’re doing about COVID-19

We are committed to the following measures, and will be continuously reviewing these as we navigate this challenging time together.

Proactive and Transparent Communication

Our community hosts are committed to regular and proactive communication with our members as and when anything changes.  In order to do this we provide ongoing and extensive staff education and training on duty of care and risk management.

Hygienic Spaces to Call Home

In our community spaces we’ve increased the frequency of our cleaning, with provided hand sanitiser for our members to use. Our community hosts screen members and guests pre-arrival and on-arrival to ensure the safety of all existing members and staff.

Belonging and Community

You can still connect in our community spaces, and we’re more committed to fostering community now than ever. Our hosts constantly observe the recommendations of NSW Government Health and adjust community offerings accordingly to ensure the safety of all members.

We understand this pandemic is also an economic crisis and so have adjusted our protocols to reflect the ever changing needs of our members. You can live at UKO with certainty as we have adjusted our pricing and relaxed our leasing policies.

This is an unsettling time for everyone and the wellbeing of our communities is important to us. To support our members,  we share and advocate well-being resources for our members to help them navigate this challenging time together.
