Dulwich Hill

Coming soon

Dulwich Hill is located in the thriving inner west of Sydney. It is home to some of Sydney’s most charming neighbourhoods, offering plenty of tree-lined streets and lush parks to explore. Every walk you take in Dulwich Hill will draw your attention to something you’ve never noticed before: a particularly stunning 19th century terrace home, a hidden coffee shop, or a colourful mural revitalising the walls of an old warehouse.

Dulwich Hill is one of the most accessible suburbs in Sydney’s inner west, with two light rail stations and a train station, all of which cut down travel time after work or a late night out in the city. Its central location means Dulwich Hill is a gateway to the rest of the inner-west. No matter whether you want to try out a new bar in Newtown or watch an indie film at Leichhardt’s cinema, you won’t have to travel long distances to get there.

Dulwich Hill’s Marrickville Road is a highlight reel of the best shops and cafes that the inner west has to offer. Purchase your next favourite book at Sydney’s much-loved independent bookstore Gleebooks, stock up on Mexican deli products and enjoy an authentic taco at Tamaleria, or order a charcuterie board at the Larder Wine and Cheese Bar. Prefer the great outdoors? At the Denison Road Community Gardens, practise your green thumb and tend to an assortment of herb and vegetable patches alongside local gardening enthusiasts. Or, go for a jog around the expansive sports field at Johnson Park, where you’ll also find several basketball hoops, a playground, and plenty of playful pooches.

Neighbouring suburb Summer Hill is only a short walk away from Dulwich Hill. The village-atmosphere of Summer Hill transports you to a place that combines the best of city-life with a communal, country-like character. Summer Hill is the perfect area to eat out with friends in the numerous al fresco dining options surrounding the main strip. There’s even several vintage-inspired bars in Summer Hill that have taken up residence in converted terrace homes, offering numerous cloistered spots to enjoy a glass of wine in peace.

The inner west has mastered the art of organising trendy events where everyone is welcome. Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, the lawns in front of Summer Hill’s Flour Mill transform into an artisan marketplace, where you can purchase anything from handmade jewellery and ceramic mugs to freshly made gozleme and jars of gourmet relishes.
